1 x 60 minute session per week for 8 weeks developing the technique and strength to perform Handstands and an introduction to other hand-balances in a small-group environment.

Charlottes experience of learning how to handstand
Learning how to handstand and headstand again has been amazing – something many people could do as children so effortlessly but could never imagine to do when they’re adults; we are more afraid of falling over, injuring ourselves and simply looking foolish. Thanks to James, and his unique personal training methods, he created this handstands/bodyweight class. Not only did he teach me the importance of bodyweight strength and balance, but he provided personalised classes based on our progress. One week at a time, one new skill at a time, I have now have been taken back to my childhood days… balancing on my hands and head, doing interesting yoga positions, feeling more and more confident, whilst instilling support and confidence in others. James’ classes are intimate and personal, but most importantly fun! He has shown us that with practice, belief and a supportive environment, you really can become stronger mentally and physically! Beginner Olympic Lifting Course  - £25 per session (£200 for the full course per person)  

  • 1 hour long workshop per week for 8 weeks  developing the technique needed to safely and effectively perfomr the Snatch and Clean and Jerk.
  • We will begin at the basics so this is suitable for all levels, beginner to those looking to refine their technique
  • Pre-requisites for this course are an ability to front and back squat, and ideally overhead squat (at least to have sufficient mobility), although this will be covered during hte course.

I understand that any physical fitness program includes exercises to build the cardiorespiratory system (heart and lungs), the musculoskeletal system (muscle endurance and strength, and flexibility), and to improve body composition (decrease of body fat in individuals needing to lose fat, with an increase in weight of muscle and bone).

Description of Potential Risks:

I understand that the reaction of the cardiovascular system to exercise cannot always be predicted with accuracy. Use of the weight lifting equipment and engaging in heavy body calisthenics may lead to musculoskeletal strains, pain and injury if adequate warm-up, gradual progression, and safety procedures are not followed. I understand that JL Fitness Solutions and its employees shall not be liable for any damages arising from personal injuries sustained by myself while and during the personal training program. Using the exercising equipment during the personal training program does so at his/her own risk and you assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages which may occur during the training.

Any diet plans or nutritional advice given out to JL Fitness Solutions subscribers are followed and implemented at your own risk.
